I saw your WW post below and just wanted to share what we did. A did not sleep well at all for the first 5 weeks, except when in bed with us or on my chest. We tried a lot, and finally decided we needed to try him on his belly and from that point forward he has slept great. We got the Angelcare for piece of mind and we got a piece of plywood to put under the PNP pad and use it in the PNP (still do). When he was not mobile, we just fed the line over at the foot of the PNP. Now that he is mobile, we cut a very small hole in one of the corners to feed it through, so he cannot get to it. We got the quilted sheets to add a little more cushion.
