I had the Britax B-Ready for over a year and was very happy with it - until my 12m old got his finger stuck in the rear wheel. So now we have the City Select. It seems that I can't recline both of them at the same time? When we go to Disney, zoos, etc. both will fall asleep in the stroller. So what's the easiest configuration for that? Also. do you keep your youngest in the back (closest to you) so you can easily recline him/her? IT seems that if the baby is in the front (while bothe seats are facing out), if you recline that front seat, the child in the back will be squished!
Re: City Select users - which configuration
I think this is pretty much the only way to do it:

In fairness, dual recline (total) on a short chassy tandem is a tall order. It is the side-by-sides that really excel in that area.
We have never attempted this. If we did, we'd probably put our younger one in front because he would be less likely to freak about having the other seat above him. Or you could put it facing out (so that the head is toward the front) if you are comfortable having them be out there head first.

At first, we had the car seat adapter in the back position with DD inside and our DS was sitting in a seat in the front. Once she grew out of the car seat adapter, we had her in the back and DS in the front, both facing forward. Sometimes DS would ask to face her so I would turn him to face her.
But typically, they are both facing forward. Recently, I have had to change it so that DD is in front because she likes to kick DS. Plus, it works better to have the heaviest child in the back. I was not comfortable with that arrangement until she was older.
I would say what the poster posted above iwth the picture. DS1 through can fall asleep in without being reclined. If that's the case I turn him in facing me and put DS2 in the top facing forward to recline with. Usually through neither of my boys sleep in the city select now. They will in BOB while in disney but that's about it.
