So it turns out..

Now I'm hypothyroid.I got tested last year, and it was in the normal range. I was told by an IF specialist at that time to take Thyroxine but I didn't want to if it was in the normal range. But now my TSH is above the normal range. So that could be contributing to all this. Fortunately, my FSH is still pretty good. I'm optimistic now, that if I take the thyroid medicine it may help matters!

That's great! Well you know, that medicine should help. I got tested a year ago when I went off bc and didn't have a period for 8 weeks. Within a week of the meds I ovulated and became totally regular.

Then my dad told me that when my parents were having trouble conceiving, HE got tested, was hypothyroid and as soon as he normalized my mom got pregnant. Weird.

When I was in treatment my thyroid levels were in normal range as well, but on the higher end of the range.  My RE suggested I go on a low synthroid because for "TTC purposes" they like to see the numbers a little lower.

That's great news!  I've heard that Thyroid levels flux during the day so I wonder if it was an issue back then and they just didn''t catch it at the right time and that it wasn't that off.  **Finger crossed*** that this solved the problem.

thanks, well who knows? But although I now have to take thyroid medicine for the rest of my life, I am happy that maybe this could help. We shall see....
