and now can not get my rings off! My knuckles are swollen so the rings aren't too tight on my finger but they will not go over my knuckle. I've tried everything. Should I be worried about keeping them on? I can still twist them around pretty easily but I dont' want to wake up one day and see my finger purple. I'm freaking myself out. I guess my only solution is to have them cut off?
Anyone else still have their rings on and can not take them off?
Re: I waited too long...
I agree with these suggestions. Also, try some oil or lotion. In any case I'd wait until first thing in the morning.
I was going to say to go outside and throw snowballs for a while, but this works too
.
Definitely all of this and the soak in ice-water, too!
Try it again tomorrow morning, and good luck!

yes ( re PP). Definitly try at night. I sometimes had trouble getting my engagement ring off even before the BFP. Eveening is so much easier, I don't know why. One time I tried so hard to take it off in the morning I actually bruised my finger, then I tried the next evening and I only needed a little lotion.
Also, there is a technique you can use with waxed floss that may be worth trying if it is just a specific part of your finger you are having trouble getting over. Just make sure to keep an eye on your colour as it is wrapped as you will be impeding the circulation.
This is me, too.
When they are snug I can usually drink a bottle of water and pop them off.
