Dh and I are having trouble with names, after reading so many its hard to find ones that stick out. I come from a family with lots of women with K names and always thought I'd use a K name for a girl, but it seems like they are everywhere I look now. So we seem to be stuck on A names, any suggestions? For middle name, we are using either my mn Rae (after my father and gf) or after my dh's grandmother Estelle. So far we have...
Adelyn Estelle (I like Adeline, but we want it pronounced lyn after a deceased family member I never had the chance to meet) I think this name is beautiful, but our last name has 3 syllables and it seems like a mouthful sometimes.
Ainsley Rae (too cutesy?)
We found Ainsley in the beginning of the pregnancy and loved it bc we had never heard it (now I know its becoming popular). Recently we found Adelyn and like it even more. But I find myself saying them both too much and talking myself out of them which is dumb i know! Thanks!
Re: Girl Names
I know a little girl named Alyssa Rae & I always thought it flowed well together. I really like Adelyn Estelle too - sounds very pretty to me. I've never been a fan of the name Ainsley - I agree, Adelyn is better.
I don't love Ainsley...it sounds like you're trying too hard to be preppy.
Adelyn sounds pretty, but it also sounds made-up.
