@justsuzie - isn't there medication you can take to jump start AF? I remember in my 20s I wasn't having a period for a few months so the doctor gave me some pills to get it going and it did the trick.
...I called the dr and she said that because I only got to a 0 HCG 2.5 weeks ago that she wants me to wait a full 4 weeks before medicine. So, the wait continues!
@justsuzie I also thought there were pills that could jump start a period. I can't believe AF hasn't shown up for months! Sorry!
@pumpkin0913 I've never had a successful pregnancy so I can't relate to that, but AF has shown up on time (within a few days) of each of my 3 MCs. Unfortunately it can vary and some get AF in a timely fashion, and others get AF weeks or even months later.
So all of our preliminary testing has been completed. The only things that showed up was that my Vitamin D was like so I'm taking vitamin D pills now, and DH has an inverted chromosome 9. So we have to meet with a genetic counselor about that, although it isn't believe that that would have anything to do with MC, but we're meeting with a specialist just to make sure. After that we'll be meeting with the RE again to figure out what's next, probably more tests.
Still depressed and taking things pretty hard. Having dreams about holding babies doesn't really help. I'm trying to stay positive about 2017.

Heard back from the nurse today about my blood draw last friday - it dropped to 150. I expect it to be even lower now. I go for a follow up with my OB next Tuesday and another blood draw. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions so I will need to write them down. I'm going to the spa tomorrow for most of the day.
Hi ladies, I'm also benched for January so I'll be hanging out around these parts as well. As much as waiting stinks the break from obsessing is kinda nice. @MimoCa 6 months? I'm a little too impatient for that.

@SoonToBeMommaHowe the break from obsessing is nice! But, it's also stressful in thinking of all the 'wasted' time. Good luck relaxing this time!

@SoonToBeMommaHowe@pumpkin0913 I know. I mean it feels forever but I guess I gotta wait for AF first and a few cycles and see how long that's going to take to get back anyways so at least 3 months if my cycle comes back in 6 weeks. So I'll be here hanging out for a while lol.
@justsuzie a vacation sounds like such a nice idea! Probably won't happen though because of work.
Got lab results today. My HCG is at 9 so I have to have my blood drawn again If I had just waited another day I might not have to do it again. Oh well...
@MimoCa I keep saying "I'm ready to be back to normal" but I know from being here.....that may never happen lol. But I feel like af showing up will be a step in the right direction
@pumpkin0913 Good luck with 0. You are almost there. My first AF came 3.5 weeks after my HCG was at 0. My dr said that if would happen anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Hope you get back on a semi regular cycle soon.
Thanks @justsuzie I hope I go back to a semi regular cycle too, but I'm aware I may not. I've never been a regular temper, but I think when af gets here I'll give it a shot.
Lurking as I have no intention of trying again until fall. @pumpkin0913 In the past 28 months, I have had 5 a.f. and after having my Dd it took over 12 months to come back and had to stop taking the pill to get it to start. Well after my m.c. it took 4 weeks from the start to get it, so I was kind of shocked. Obviously you may be different.
Hi @rklinge0 that's crazy af took so long after your dd but came so quickly after your MC! When I said it took a while after having ds... it was only like 4 months, seemed long to me, but short compared to what you went through. I guess I'll just have to wait and see
anyone have low energy after having a CP…..I'm still waiting for my high energy levels to return. I've taken a nap pretty much every day since its happened.
@vlagrl29 I didn't have a cp, but I was exhausted after my mc. It was 2 weeks ago today and I've only started to feel normal-ish (at least energy wise) for the last couple days.
@vlagrl29 I was exhausted after my cp, but I think part of it is mental as well. MC is just emotionally draining and I don't think that helps with having energy or desires to do things.

@dpjennifer - I"m taking lots of vitamins and supplements and getting enough sleep. DH told me maybe I'm partly depressed. I'm still trying to live life as usual. Tonight is my first night back private teaching and this week I want to deep clean the house. Need to find a normalcy again. Coffee is my best friend too in the mornings to get me going
@vlagrl29 I think with any loss some sadness/depression is normal. I'm glad to hear you did some yoga today and it helped. Deep cleaning the house sounds so ambitious to me. This is coming from a spot cleaner. I love my coffee too : )

@SP128 - I did end up deep cleaning the bathroom yesterday, teaching 4 kids, writing up a grocery list, vacuuming my music room and a little bit of laundry. IDK keeping busy like that helps me feel better. I'm glad to be going to my follow up OB appt this afternoon.
The follow up with my OB today was good. Basically when I got a BFP at 4 weeks my HCG was around 140 and she said it should have been around the thousands and if it truly was healthy at 140 then that should have been a just new pregnancy. My progesterone should have been in the 200s she said and it was at 9.5. I had my AF so medically speaking she can't really explain how it happened as I regularly am on time with Oing and AF. She said I would have had to conceive early december but there is no way because I always ovulate around CD15. Anyways I just chalk it up to a not good embryo and my body got rid of it naturally.
Moving forward I still want my progesterone checked on CD21 and that will be done in Feb. I had all fertility basic testing done except that one because I was pregnant when CD21 happened in December.
I want to say we are NTNP but really we are trying I just am completely done with anything charting, temping, OPKs, etc. I can't handle the emotional stress of all that right now. I Just want to go with the flow for now. If progesterone comes back fine and we hit the year mark TTC in June then I will think about clomid - she didn't mention it to me but I want to give it a full year of TTC before I go that route.
@vlagrl29 Glad you got some answers and that your wait wasn't too long. FX your body is ready when you are!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
