really thought it was coming

I had some regular (although far apart) cramping/contracting last night....and more today..and all of sudden not so much...think LO is lower anyhow she's headbutting me in even more uncomfortable places than before.   Oh well.  I just don't wanna go over and face an induction and I'm 39w tomorrow....

    I know the feeling.  I was having some nice contractions on Friday, but they died away over the weekend.  LO has left me pretty sore with where he has his head and all the movement.  Here's to hoping we get our outside babies soon!

    EXACTLY! This is why I'm convinced that when I go nto real labor, I will ignore it because of all the contrax I've had in the past few weeks. Haha! I might be giving birth on my living room floor...

    As far as inductions go, I'm already past my due date and my OB has not even discussed inducing me because 1) I'm only 1 cm and 2) my due date is probably wrong because I wasn't charting or TTC when got pregnant. It's bittersweet really; in a way, it makes me glad to have chosen such a responsible doctor but at the same time... I want to meet LO! Haha!

    my due dates the 24th based on LMP but based on charting etc I've got more like 3 days LOL....In any event I've been 2 cm and 80% effaced for weeks...I just really don't want to have to face a decision re: inductoin

    I was up till 5 in the morning with contractions cramping and lower back pain. I woke up because of stronger conractions this morning at 9 and around noon they pretty much only came every 20 min. :( Im so fed up with false labor.

    I hope labor comes very soon for you! I feel like the days have slowed down SO much since I hit 40W. The days are like ten times longer. Making it to 41 weeks will be psychological torture. Hang in there!

    A big DITTO to everyone's posts!

    I keep feeling like labor is coming then BAM, nothing.  I try to time contractions but they are never regular enough or get closer together.  =(

    And I'm overdue at 40w3d.
