City select car seat adapter ?

I have a car seat adapter for the city mini and I am looking at purchasing the city select..does the adapter work on this? I know it says that does but then there are adapters that say for single or double. If I am making any sense?

The car seat adapter for the mini and select are different. The one I have for the select is ok, it takes some time to get used to it but its fine.
