It's real now.....

My c-section is scheduled for Monday morning at 8 am. I am such a bundle of mixed emotions! Being a FTM is extremely scary/exciting! I just keep telling myself to take deep breaths. I am nervous not only about c-section but about breastfeeding! I am nervous it won't work out or it will be a horrible experience. I just hope I am able to do it! I'm just so thankful I have a calm and comforting DH! He is my rock! I can't believe it's time!

I felt the same way when my water broke. I started freaking out and asking DH all these what ifs (what if I can't breastfeed? she's colicky/ she doesnt like me/ something goes wrong) he had to keep reassuring me everything was going to be fine. We have hit a few bumps in the road so far but its all worth it and we have a healthy lo and continuing to learn and grow thru the experience. You'll do great I'm sure. GL mama!
