The waiting is killing me

I applied for a new manager role in my department (brand new position) before the holidays.  Had my recruiter interview the week between Christmas and New Years and my hiring manager in person interview on Monday.  There are 2 roles open and I was told 5 people, including me, that applied and were going through the process.  Hiring manager did her last in person interview on Tuesday and she told me I would hear late this week or early next week if I was a finalist and moving into the 3rd round interview (a phone interview with a peer of the hiring manager).  I am not good at waiting and I really, really want this new position as it seems perfect for me.  My current manager, my last manager and my director have all told me that they really think it is a perfect fit for me.  I just want to know - final decision won't be made most likely until the end of this month or early Feb.
