Top teeth vs. Bottom teeth

DD got her two bottom teeth last month. Teething wasn't an issue and I didn't even notice she was getting teeth until they poked through and surprise! a tooth!! Now she is getting one of her top teeth (I think). I see white behind her gum and she is just miserable. She won't eat, she won't take her zantac, she can't sleep, and she is just not herself. Did this happen with your LO? Were the top teeth harder to "cut" than the bottom?

We were in the same boat for the bottom ones...didn't even know they were on their way until they were already out.  The last few days M seems a little more fussy and really chewing on everything, so I'm thinking the top ones are coming in too.  Every time I try to feel the top, he bites down on my finger, and it hurts with his little shark teeth!  If the top ones do emerge, I'd say they are definitely worse than the bottom ones were.  GL!

We cut one bottom tooth and it wasn't that bad. I think we're cutting a 2nd bottom one and nights have been hell.

DS is cutting his first bottom tooth and his night had been very inconsistent but he has been very crabby during the day.

I've heard that the top teeth can be worse, but we haven't experienced it yet. DS cut his bottom 2 teeth together over 2 months ago with a little fussiness, but nothing too bad. Still waiting for those top ones...

with the bottom teeth we had one really fussy day per tooth where she nursed and napped for hours and then woke up with a tooth.

with the top I swear that thing has been working its way out since before christmas! yesterday it is bright white, even looks at first glance like it's through, but then you touch and it hasn't cut yet. So she hasn't been as fussy so far, but it's taking foreeeeever.

I'm sure this is one of those different for every kid things!

Looks like I should be counting my blessings that the bottom were easy for us. I'll stop complaining about the top teeth now!

This! Reed has had his two middle bottom teeth since October and I swear he's been working on the two middle top teeth ever since! Finally yesterday, I noticed that they are starting to cut through, PLUS he's cutting another one on the bottom.

Teething makes me want to cry.

The top ones were/are infinitely worse than the bottoms for us.  She refuses solids and screams all night.  She now has four teeth on top, and even though they've cut through, she's still a beast.  My boobs are destroyed.  Yeah, I hate teeth.

She did seem a little more crabby, less herself when her top ones have been coming in.  I know she was in pain with the bottom ones, but the top seems to be causing more discomfort, drooling, sleep issues, etc.
