cupcake birthday theme

can i have some ideas from anyone who did this? ?thinking of doing it for dd's 2nd birthday.

I did it for DD's 1st birthday.  I ordered some paper plates, napkins, hats, and the banner from celebrateexpress.com.  It was called Girl's Lil Ist Birthday....it was in really pretty, girly colors.  I took that theme and ran with it.  I used the die cut machine at school and made giant circles, medium circles, and small circles in all of the pastel colors...and taped them all over the house (like polka dots).  We had a baker make us her "giant cupcake smash cake" out of the Wilson Cupcake Pan.  She made the rest of us sheet cakes with polka dots on them.  We bought the lavendar/pink balloons and hung them around the house.  We put the little circles on the tables as polka dot confetti.  The whole thing was so much fun!  You could do so many different things with the cupcake theme.

I'm doing it for DD's 1st this weekend.  Brown and pink.  I got balloons from an ebay seller - Sweet Creations.  I'm making the wilton giant cupcake, leaving the bottom brown with pink top and brown sprinkles.
