increased fetal movement

Hey...I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I know that he is running out of room, but in the past 2 days he has been moving around like crazy, more so than ever. I couldn't sleep last night, he kept dancing and kicking all over. I know you should be concerned with a decrease in fetal movement, but was wondering if there is cause for concern with an increase.

    Mine has too. She has been moving for over an hour.

    With my son, I once called the on-call OB because he was so incredibly active.all of a sudden (I don't remember how far along I was).  She kind of laughed at me and said they only worry about a decrease in movement.  I had read that it could be a sign of trouble, but according to this doctor, and then my regular OB on the next visit, there was no reason to worry.

    Mine has been a lot more active the past 3 days too, I am attributing it to the full moon.

    My LO has been going crazy as well. I actually asked my MW at my last appointment about it and she laughed. I was more concerned because I was getting like an hour straight of constant movement - I've never experienced that for such a long period of time before. Glad to see it's happening to others though!

    Yep, mine has been going crazy!  People have even noticed him moving from across the room.  I think they have been moving this much all along it's just the more squished they get the more we feel them.

    I swear LO is having a party in there!  It has been non-stop movement for a few days now, although he was always a very active in there to begin with.  I had an appt with my OB last night and he was actually laughing at all the feet and elbows that were flying while he was trying to measure my belly.  Like PPs, I was told only be worried about a major decrease in activity, otherwise activity means LO is happy and healthy in there.

    Yep mine has become a little jumping bean. Actually, yesterday when the nurse was trying to find her heartbeat, she was kinda rough pulling on my belly and Babygirl KICKED her! LOL It was hilarious Stick out tongue

     The nurse was like "did she just kick me?" I said "yep, she is telling you to be gentle with her mommy!". I think I will have a fiesty one on my hands! So excited to meet her Yes
