9 month apointment?

My cousin said her son had a 9mo well baby check-up yesterday and they took blood to test his iron levels. My pedi doesnt do that, we dont see him again until 21 months. Does your pedi do a 9mo check up?

We have 9 month and one year appointments. There are vaccinations at one year, but I think the 9 month is just a check-up.

Our doc does a 9 month, just a general weight check and looksie. Shots at 12 months again.

Yes. I have it scheduled for two weeks from today. She'll go back again at 12 months.

The blood draw has me a bit worried now. I think I might take the day off work if that's the case. I'll have to call them.

Ours does not schedule a 9 month checkup. He said most babies end up visiting him plenty of times during that timeframe anyway. (Not to make us paranoid or anything.)

we just came from ds 9 month appointment. They did height, weight, milestones, general assessment, talked about foods, and then blood work to check for anemia

Blood draw at 9m for lead and iron.

Apt's at 12 and 18, 24mos..

We have a 9 month and a 12 month.  I really need to drop in to get her 2nd dose of the flu shot though.

Ours does a 9 month...just a checkup for weight, etc. no shots.   We have a 12 month, 15, 18, 24 month...etc.  From DS#1 I remember they did the blood draw for iron, etc. at 1 year.

Ours has a 9 month checkup. No vaccinations at that one, but there is a CBC.

My doc doesn't do the blood draw until 1 yr and 2 yr. Makes this appointment much faster and easier for Eliza. No shots, no needles, just weight, height and other normal stuff.

Our ped does a BIG 9 mt visit.  He'll be doing a hearing check, eye check, a little prick on finger to check bloods along with all the regular stuff.  No shots at this visit.
