Lower Right Back Pain

Hi Ladies,

I'll be in my third trimester in 2 days and today have been experiencing a weird ache? in my lower right back. I didn't really notice it until I was out running errands and was waiting in line to pay that it was hurting. I know that it isn't labor pains (since I currently have a 2.5 year old) but didn't experience this the first time around. I'm debating if it's worth a call to my doctor since I have an apt on Thursday morning. Anyone else experience anything similar or should I just call? Thanks!

A pain in the low back and butt cheek? If so, yes. It's pelvic girdle pain. Normal, yet uncomfortable.

I have similar pain only it's my lower back on the left side. If i do too much one day I can totally feel it when I put weight on my left leg. I have to go really slow when I get out of bed at night because I know it will catch me by surprise and it's a horrible stabbing pain. Sorry you are feeling it too. Try to rest a bit!

I was thinking sciatica too.

Not sure what kind of pain you're having, but for a couple weeks I was having a really sharp stabbing pain in my low back on the left side when I would stand/walk.  I was told it was likely SI joint pain.
