I am not a fan of Twilight. At all.  I love trashy books (I love Sherrilyn Kenyon) but I wouldn't name my kid Fang just because it's a character in her book.

A acquaintance on FB is naming her son Edward Cullen S****. I ask her if she was naming him after family. Her response, "NO! Twilight, duh!  I want my baby to sparkle!"

lol I am a fan but not crazy that I would name my child after any of those characters. A little too much for me.

Eh.  At least it's a good name.  People have been naming kids after book characters for years.  Personally, I would go with a better book, but that's just me.  I am waiting for Katniss and Peeta to become popular.  I'm sure it won't take long once the movies come out.

I do admit to naming my child after a character in a book but figured I couldn?t go wrong with Dickens

LOL - My sister was a big fan of the band Hanson as a teen, and was also a teen mom. When my niece was born, she named her Jordan Taylor (Last Name), named after the lead singer of Hanson, who's real name was Jordan Taylor, although his stage name was just Taylor.

  yikes. I guess names have always been really important to me.  I spent months and months researching names and meanings.  I guess it would have to be a really important book for me to name my child after a character.

*face in palm of my hand* OMG that is terrible.  I watched like 15 min or so of one of the movies last night (it was on tv) and i couldn't take anymore. I really dont understand the obsession by some people

3 years ago I wanted to name my cat Edward from Twilight. DH said NO so I went with Cullen.

Fast forward to April of last year. My sister names her son Cullen.

My nephew is named after Vampires and my cat. Ha!

Cullen has become a pretty popular name for a by since the movies, I actually think it is cute. Edward Cullen is a bit much though!

She is one of my favorite authors. She is also a great persons to meet. Very friendly. 

I love Twilight too...but would never name my kid Acheron or Kane or Sundown...or many of the other great characters in all the books I read!!!
