Success after IF

What would SAIF wear?

I'm actually getting a grown up night soon to go see Cavalia (if you haven't heard of it, think of Cirque du Soleil with horses).  What the heck should I wear?  Jeans with a nice shirt?  Non-jean pants?  A skirt?  I'm so clueless when it comes to such things!

  • You could do either, but I usually forgo the jeans for date night since I spend my life in them. I like getting a little dressed up and un-mom like for date night!

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • if it's a date with my husband, i usually wear a skirt since that is a little more sexy. if it's a night out with girls, i wear jeans and a nice top.

  • I don't think I even own a skirt, except as a part of a suit for work!

I almost always do dark jeans, a fun shirt, heels, and accessories.  I really can't think of anywhere off the top of my head that it wouldn't be appropriate, IMO.

    Have fun!

Ha I am the total opposite since all I wear is dress up clothes:)

I do think you would be good with either though and that sounds like a great night out!

    This totally.

DH sees me in sweats, etc WAYY more than he sees me in nice clothes.  For a date I try to do skirts, heels and a little cleavage.  The nicer I look on a date the sexier I feel!!

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

Thanks all.  I just looked at my closet and it sucks.  Guess I should have thought about that a couple days ago!  I guess I'll base what I go with some on what DH is wearing (guessing pants and a button down shirt).  So, I'll probably go with a skirt or dress since the couple pairs of pants that fit are all faded (and boots are classier than my other black shoes).  I need to go shopping!
