do you guys remember the stray dog?

Remember when that stray dog jumped into DH's car in our driveway? And I kept him for a few weeks and searched high and low for his owners and finally found a lady via CL who wanted him? And then battled fleas in our house thanks to The Dog? Wink That was almost 2 years ago (whoa!) and I just got this email from her along with sweet pictures of her family with The Dog (now Duke). I'm in tears! Just thought I'd share since some of you were SO helpful to me during that time!

You may think this is nuts to be contacting you after so long, but I wanted you once again to hear how happy you made our
family with Duke. It's hard to describe how much we love him; like no other dog/animal we have ever had before. He is
so smart and we adore him completely. I don't know if it's his amazing breed (English Springer Spaniel Field and Trials
dog) or just Duke's wonderful self. One night I said to Duke as he was sitting next to my husband, "Duke are you ready to
kennel"? Duke loves to sleep in his kennel in a room next to ours. We have a very cozy soft bed inside the kennel. When
I said that, Duke stood up and got ready to leave, but then I said "give your daddy a kiss goodnight" and he plopped on top
of my husband and gave him a big kiss. Next he walked straight to his kennel with his tail wagging all the way. He is soooo
amazingly sweet. You gave us the best gift we have ever received as a family!
