We were at a wedding for a few hours on Saturday then came home to relax. I made it until 12:15 am but wasn't actually trying to stay awake.

DH and I went to a friends house to ring in the New Year. Wasn't too exciting, but since I'm on bedrest, a bit party wasn't a option either! We had a fun time and watched movies and played a few games.

Updates- I see the doctor again on Wednesday. I'm really hoping my csection date will get moved up from the 19th since I'm having so many braxton hicks and their growth is tapering. I can hardly sleep at night since my tummy is so tight now. I'm so sick of the BH contractions!!

I was down and out with a sinus infection, so we stayed home and watched football and New Years Rockin Eve.  I did make it to midnight, shocking!  No major updates...I have an OB appt on Thurs and my first MFM appt (NT scan) on Fri, so I am anxious to see the babies and get an update on how they're growing.

We didn't do anything.  I was put on bed rest this week and my H had knee surgery.  It's been quite a site, the two of us trying to get around.

New Years Eve was my dad's 60th birthday.  We took my parents to his favorite Mexican restaurant then had pineapple upside down cake.  That night my husband and I hung out on the couch watching tv.  I stayed up passed midnight but only because the house behind us threw a massive party and I could clearly hear the music/laughter/talking in our bedroom.

We went to a party with friends/relatives. There was no ringing in the New Year. We left around 9:30 to put our 2 year old to bed. I may have been sleepy too .

I was up till 1:00 a.m.  Not by choice but because my husband and his brother own a firework stand.  Of course it's a big night of sales for us.  I was there watching all the excitement and then the kids get to pick whatever they want to "pop" for midnight and they put on a big show.  It's always a cool show because it's our stand, the stand down the street and the daiquiri shop down the street all at once.

I spent New Year's Eve with our parents playing board games. New Years Day I didn't do anything but organize the house and nursery. I did make it to midnight to watch the ball drop. Good luck to everyone in 2012...it is going to be a great year!

Hi I would love to be joined in! I'm due in may! We are team green! New years we hung out at friends house and got home at 2! I was SOoo tired the next day! As my 4 and 3 year old was up and ready to o at 8 happy new year everyone!

We went to my parents' house and spent it with the family which was wonderful!  I fell asleep a few minutes before the NY New Years but woke up when the ball dropped.  It's wonderful to imagine the babies being here for the next New Year's!

We went to my brother's hockey game and then out for dinner with my family. Everyone's beers at the table looked reallllly good. H and I just watched some old episodes of Always Sunny when we got home. I was still awake at midnight, but was in bed. Last year we were both sick on New Years, so it was pretty lame, too.

Hi ladies!   We went to a party at my brothers house, I made it till 1 am.  My husband had to be at the firehouse the next day anyway.  I think I was a trooper.   Going to a dr appt wed, ultrasound and talk about delivery!

Hi I would like to be added! Due May 29th with boy/girl twins!

 NYE we went over a friends house who has a 9 month old. We played some Wii and watched the ball drop. We got home around 2 pm.

We went out for pizza. Same place every New Years Eve. Yum! Then went back to a friends and played games. I did make it to midnight. I was in bed by 1:30 am., but I can't sleep anyway so I'm always up.

New Years Day we watched football. It was a typical Sunday. More football today too! Love watching football!

My parents were here to help work on the nursery.  DH grilled steaks and shrimp, and my parents crashed early. We watched the ball drop at 11pm our time, and we went to bed too.  Not super exciting, but I can't do too much these days!

May I be added We are having boy/girl twins my due date is 2/18/12. I hope to make it as close as possible, but after my appointment on weds. I might have an update.

For New Years I took my 3 older kids out to dinner and then we came home and watched Kung Fu Panda 2.  I know living on the edge..whooo hooo! 2 of the 3 stayed up until 11:45, and I tried to stay awake with the DH...but lost the battle..lol. But we had a New Years breakfast in the morning and it was better than trying to stay awake.  Happy New Year to you all! I'm so happy I found this post!

Spent new years day. Resting i am so uncomfortable and I think I am getting a cold. I am so ready to have my body back.

I went into preterm labor on Dec 19th and have been on hospital bed rest ever since. Not a fun way to spend the holidays, but I'm so thankful my boys are still baking. I'm 1cm dilated and 90% effaced and still battling contractions, even while on meds. Next goal is to make it to this Friday (34w).

Thanks for the post!  We had a really nice NYE, stayed up until 12:30 or so (even let the kids stay up, only one of them gets irrationally cranky when he's tired) so we had a slower day yesterday.  Had a dinner party earlier in the evening and rang it in with sparkling apple cider at home!

I'm having my 16w A/S tomorrow, I'm so super excited.  I hope to find out the sex at this point, but if they don't cooperate, I have one every 2 weeks for an unknown (to me) amount of time.

Since I am on hospital bed rest my DH and some friends came to the hospital and we celebrated! I stayed up till 12!

Happy new year!  There's no way I could stay up until midnight.  I made it til 11 and ended up with a pretty nasty headache yesterday from staying up so late, so my resolution is to make it to bed on time from now on!

I had another SCH bleeding incident on Christmas Eve (the third big incident) so I've been more conscious to stay off my feet and ask friends for help.  Next appointment is in a week!

We spent NYE with my parents. They have a party every year with family and friends and there's no where else I'd rather be! I was up until 230am but definitely not by choice!

Update: My C-section date has been moved to 1/6 (this Friday!!!) due to slightly elevated blood pressure (and the fact that I will be at 37w3d by then anyway). Gaaah I am so excited and freaked out at the same time! Ha, last week I said that my resolution was to not be the first to deliver in 2012... we'll see if that still happens! Any takers???

QOTW: I spent a quiet NYE with my mom (visiting to help out for the first couple of weeks home with babies) and DH. We made peanut butter brownies (yum) and got to bed by 9:30pm. My mom was jetlagged from just getting in from the USA and I was certainly not feeling like a party animal!

Happy New Years ladies!! Sorry I am so late to posting on here again-- I vow to be more involved on here as you all have been such a tremendous wealth of advice and knowledge.... On New Years Eve I had a work function that DH and I attended, but we left at 11 to come home and eat lots of appetizers and watch the ball drop! On New Years Day we just relaxed which was amazing!!
