My DD just turned 5 months old, She's been great on enfamil infant, and I currently have a good stock pile of formula that should last ~late Feb.
My estimation is only approximate, but we go through about the 23.4oz tub in about 5-8 days (I used to have a better accurate) .
My question is, how much formula are older babies still drinking?
*Right now in prepared formula its about 24-30oz a day.
Sorry if I am confusing! TIA!
Re: if you FF, how much in dry product?
O ok! Not sure how much is in the similac tub, but it sounds like they stay close to the 25-35oz range a day.
thank you!
Madelyn drinks around 25 - 30 oz of formula a day plus 3 meals of solids (so approx 6-8 oz of solids a day right now).
At 5-6 months, she would typically eat 24-28 oz a day. My pedi told me that usually they are pretty consistent with their formula intake from 6 months on, but will start to eat more solids (although formula / breastmilk should still be their main source of nutrition until 1 year of age)
My DD drinks about 20 oz of formula a day & eats 3 meals of solids. That started at about 6 months.
I have one that takes 16-24oz a day and one that does 24-32oz a day.
She may increase her daily intake a little bit in the next month or so, but once you start adding solids it will drop a tad.
Thanks ladies! So helpful! We've started rice cereal a few weeks ago, but nothing major, just a teaspoon or two.
I'm excited to give her more "solid" food
