XP: Shuddering with Solids?

We just started DS on solids this week and when I was giving him bananas today, he was like flinching his eyes and shaking his head back and forth. Anyone else's LO do this? Was it only with certain foods? He didn't do it with sweet potatoes at all. Just curious if it's "normal," and why it's happening?

I consulted Google with no help so please reassure me that DS isn't the only one doing this with solids. Thanks ladies!

DS does this too! Nothing to worry about, it's just something new & strange to them.

Thanks ladies!  It was just such a different reaction than the sweet potatoes and I hadn't seen it before.  I got a video though and it's hilarious!

Yeah, the first time DS did this was bananas also. We said it looked like we were shocking him.
