8+ monthers

How much are you still managing to exercise?

I was 5days on the elliptical + weights until 34 weeks and now I'm eeking by 15 min on the elliptical and some bike 3 maybe 4 times a week at best. Frustrating

  • Im not pregnant anymore but with both pregnancies I manage to work out 4-5x day for about an hour. Mostly swimming.

  • I'm 33 weeks now.  I ran 3 miles 4x a week for the first 21 weeks + 30 min eliptical or bike workouts w/weights or mat workouts 5x a week on my lunch at my work gym.  I then dropped the running and just stuck with the eliptical/bike switch off + weights.  I kept that up until about 30 weeks.  I've been doing 3x a week now just becuase of being busy with the holidays but I can definately tell that I'm slowing down on the eliptical and the bike.  30 min is hard to attain.  This week I'm just doing 45 min walks w/my dog since I'm off work (that's the gym I use) but I need to do more since I gained too much over the holidays.  I'll go back to 5x week gym workouts next week when I go back to work.
  • Where did you get a swim suit for actual swimming while pregnant? I have found lots of "sit in a chair" styles but would really like something that makes me feel athletic... Thanks
