Dump some girl names

Since we're team green, we need names for both sexes. Since DD was a girl, we still are agreed on our boy name choices. Girl names however, we're screwed. We had 2 back up names for DD and now DH doesn't like either of them. I've come up with a ton and he doesn't care for any of them.  Since DD's name is Avery-unique but not out-there-crazy   I want the same if this is a girl as well. Something different but not weird. Our last name is a 4 syllable Italian last name (if on FB you know what it is).  Give us some ideas please!

Re: Dump some girl names

  • I've been really liking Cecilia/Celia lately, but it sounds weird with our last name.

The other names I really liked when we named Natalie were Norah and Caroline.

Names I loved when I was pg with Eve but DH vetoed.. Shea, Regan.

Our other choices when pg with Eve were Grace and Violet.

  • Nymbler.com has a spot for you to list names you like (your DD's name) and it generates a list of names that "go with" that name. You could always try that if you are stumped!
  • If the twins were GG, my list was; Molly, Lauren, Lucy and Kate. I've also always loved the name Eliana (Elle-ee-ah-nuh) but DH hates it

  • We couldn't agree on many names for girls...  Other names I suggested and loved were Allie, Carly, Zoe, and Callie.  I also really like Molly, Brielle, Eva, Layla, Brynn, abd Caroline.
  • Other names I like are Elyse, Molly, Bridget, Lauren, and Kathryn.  I also like Kennedy and Kendall but there was no nn for those so they were both out and I like Julia too.

  • If O was a girl he would have been named Charlotte, hands down. I also love: Eleanor, Harper (before stupid Beckhams stole it), Madeline, Samantha
  • Ainsley, Aurelia

  • Since Avery is kind of a boys name that made the jump to being a girls name, what about another name like that? Parker? Emerson?
TTC for 3 years. Finally successful after 5 IUIs and 2 cycles of IVF. Our amazing twins were born 5 weeks early on 8/16/11. Found out April 2012 that our di/di twins are ID.

  • I'm partial to Morgan (DD's name), but I also like Audrey, Erin, Anna, Natalie and Paige. My friend named her daughter Serafina and they call her Fina. I just love that.

  • I love Lena and wish I had fought harder to name Eva that.  I also like Minka, Lorna, Penelope and Renee.
