New to Renton/Maple Valley Area - Need Recs.

Hi!  We are relocating to a home off of 196th Ave between Petrovitsky and Maple Valley Rd next month.  If you have a recommendations for places in the general area, they'd be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi & thanks for the well wishes...long distance moving with two little ones is going to be an adventure to say the least.  My husband's company is based out of Renton(Tukwila).  We met here in Las Vegas over 8 years ago while working for the same company.  The plan was always to get back to Washington and with our oldest set to start kindergarten in a couple of years, the timing couldn't be better.

I'm in that area too and can rec a few places.   For a pedi I would recommend Dr Corcoran at multicare in covington (about 10 min from you), Dentist- Dr Sharma at Four Corners family dentistry in Maple Valley (but ONLY see Dr sharma there, not the other dentist)  Kids salon- when I dont cut Holden's hair myself, I take him to Kid Cuts, also in covington.  Hair salon- I have always had a good experience at either Gene Juarez at the mall in Tukwila, or at Daniel Ross in covington.  Nail Salon- the best nail salon I have ever been to is Gina's Nail spa in Kent.   My kids dont go to daycare, but when we were looking into them we had decided on Kindercare in maple valley, they seemed to have a really great program there.

Everything Lynchie said except a different dentist. Dr. Eric Hagman. I had gone to him for 10 years before working at a dental office and then moving and seeing another dentist. Every single dentist that has looked in my mouth said he did an amazing job and I don't think I've gotten as good of care anywhere else.

Oh and for Athletic Club, Tahoma Fitness is really nice and although I haven't been a member since having kids, I have heard from others that the child care is very good there.
