This "cold and flu" season can suck it.

Right now both my kids have colds.  I have had a sore throat and/or cough off and on for two months.  I picked up Isaac at school today and he had gunk coming out of his eye so I took him to the dr and he has pink eye, an ear infection and a sinus infection.  Joy.  He and Polly both had fifth disease a month or so ago, which for Isaac had the extra joy of croup and ear infection.  I am thankful that so far Isaac has not had wheezing or other lung involvement but the drs are telling me that his daily breathing treatments are staying put until the end of spring regardless.  So much for my early retirement to the carribean!  The medical bills are going to do us in.

Girl we are right there with you!  Friday Matthew came home with a cough, Saturday it was worse and at one point when I tried to take him out for some Mommy & Matthew time he coughed to hard he puked all over me and him...  I took him to the pedi yesterday and when she tried to get wax out of his ear it started bleeding.  Of course I totally paniced thinking I should have caught something sooner, but she did give us the referral for the ENT.

I am OVER illnesses!  I literally rattled off to our pedi everything Matthew's had in the past year - 4 (now 5) ear infections, 2 bouts of strep, HFM and Fifths Disease...  Plus the nasty cough running nose crap now.  I.AM.DONE with germs!

I am right there with you.  I threw a "clorox wipe" party at work today and had my students clean everything in sight.  Half the class is out sick, plus Lily has HFM right now.  I went to drop of Lily this morning and the teachers were bleaching their toys because of all the gunk going around.  Oh, and I am just now getting rid of a cold that I have had for a month now.
