I'm coming down with a cold

Any advice how to kick it while pg? Anything I can take or do to help? I feel like poo...Crying

    You can take Benadryl safely (depending on your symptoms).  I'd up the OJ/vitamin C intake.  Get lots of rest and try running a humidifier at night.  I hope you feel better soon!

    Oh no!!!  This was me all weekend.  And still a little today.  Sudafed and Tylenol were on the safe list I found online... and I verified them both with my OB.

    I also used a Neti pot and Vicks Vapor Rub and Vicks inhaler sticks like it was my job.

    And (of course) vitamin C, OJ, lots of fluids and rest.

    I was obsessive about resting, packets of vitamin c powder in water, chicken soup and the occasional tylenol and I got mine to go away in a week (twice as long as usual for me).  Hope you feel better soon!

    I got a mild cold this past weekend (and getting over it still)

    I bought some honey for my throat, some cough drops, saline spray, Vitamin C in the form of OJ and fruits, chicken soup and lots of rest.

    Feel better soon!

    I second the neti pot and the humidifier...I had a cold a few weeks ago and these two things made all the difference.  It took me a few days of misery to finally break down and get them, but it was so worth it!  I love that neti pot...I still use it all the time when my nose is stopped up!  Take care and hope you feel better soon!
