3 Am Dance Party NTTCALR

So at 3:00 am I woke up thinking I was dreaming about Justin Bieber and singing his latest tune in my sleep.

After a few moments I realized that the blaring Justin Bieber I was hearing wasn't actually a dream but instead it was coming from outside my bedroom window.

Low and behold, the city was repainting the stop lines on our street and the 4 employees had their truck doors and back opened and were blaring the radio.

For the next hour, Dh and I were privy to Bieber, some techno and the cities club mix broadcasted live from some night club in town. Good times right?

By 4:30, I was so exhausted but clearly awake and decided to eff it and not go back to bed.

Today is going to be one hell of a long day.

Ugh, sorry love.  I will be groggy with you okay?  I had to get out of bed at 4am to close my bedroom window.  I was being serendaded by a chorus of geese on the lake.  it sounded like there were a hundred of them out there.

I could not get back to sleep after.   Dh got up shortly after to get ready for work, i dozed and tehn the alarm went off.

 

Boooooo for early morning wake ups.

Can you call the city and complain?

ugh geese!!! So so sorry love We can totally be sleepy together.

oh and I totally called at 8am when the office opened. Apparently, I'm not the only person that called from this area. The lady on the phone asked me what the hell had happened here last night because she'd gotten a number of phone calls from my irate neighbors.

Unfortunately, there's not much the city can do. She took a formal complaint but explained that the best way to deal with these situations is to call the police while it's happening. The company that does the painting are not city employees but a contracted company. So, yeah, they weren't of much help.

I wish I had logged on to join you!  I was woken up at 3 am from a dream that I had just gotten a BFP (like 3 different times!).  I was so excited when I woke up, until I realized that it wasn't really which was quickly shadowed by the BFN I got when I actually tested this am (you know incase my dreams are some sort of premonition).  Then my mind wouldn't turn off and I am on the verge of a panic attack sitting here at work.   So I hear ya about this being a long day :-/

Dh said the exact same thing. Why not threaten to pull the contract. I bet this sort of sh!t wouldn't happen again if the owner of that company were made aware that they might lose the contract over something so stupid.

Geese & Bieber... what a Sunday night.  Why couldn't we just add one more day to our weekend?!    Pink- that stinks that they can't do anything!!  Hopefully they won't be back!

They usually paint those lines once per year so I'm sure it's the last time we'll see them.

oh man so sorry.  I woke up around 2:30am the dog needed to go out.  Usually he is good til 4:30 my normal wake up time but I guess now since I am off for summer he has to make it early and then I cant get back to sleep.

What are those guys thinking, blaring music at that hour, really they dont think that it will bother sleeping people!!!

The past few days I have woke up to the Cicadas,  I actually like the sound so I am ok with it.  I do not hear them today but it is raining so wonder if that is why.

Feel better girls, hope your day is not too long!!!  Get some rest tonight!!

Wow! I would have been pissed. I think I would have gone out there and asked them why they think the whole neighborhood doesn't deserve to sleep. They obviously don't realize that's the middle of the effing night! Oh many I would be calling to complain if I were you!!
