LO's cord fell off last weekend but we are still finding a little bit of dried blood in there at each diaper change. She has a deep innie and her belly skin kind of covers it so we have to kind of "open" it with our fingers to see in there. It looks healed and no signs of infection, just the dried blood. Anyone else have this? Normal or time to call doc?

My son's looks like that too.  I've been trying to clean it with a q-tip in alcohol, but it's not really coming off.  Last time the doctor saw it it looked about the same and she said it was healing normally.

Same thing happened with my LO. When it finally fell off it still looked a bit red and I would find some dried blood on her onesies.  she happened to have a pedi appt. that week so I showed/asked about it and the pedi said it was perfectly fine and part of the healing process.
