I had a great experience at the new birthing center at Physician's Regional Medical Center on Collier Blvd in Naples. I highly recommend visiting there for your delivery. They take most insurances, that I know of, including Medicaid. I was seriously in shock at how easy and enjoyable the whole experience was. I had a c-section bc she didn't turn by 39 weeks. I never felt any pain at all until after the procedure was complete, which is to be expected. The nurses were AWESOME, they checked on me enough that I felt comforted and cared-for, but they left me alone enough that me and the baby's daddy were able to experience the first few days of being parents somewhat alone. They had really good hospital food for both of us for the 3 days we were there, and the cafeteria would even call us if we hadn't ordered lunch or dinner yet in order to remind us to place our order!
I really can't go on enough about how wonderful the staff was. It is a newer facility, I believe the whole hospital was built less than 2 years ago. Check it out.
