I'm having a mini heart attack!!

I got my final bill from my RE. They charged me for ICSI (which I knew about), and assisted hatching (which they didn't tell me they did). That's not necessarily the problem though. No where in the bill is a charge for freezing the embryos!!

I'm hoping they accidentally charged me for assisted hatching instead of freezing. I called as soon as I got the bill, but they were closed. I really hope I still have frosties!!

    Yikes!!!!  I'd be freaking out too.  I hope it was a simple miscode and all is well!

    I hear you Katt.  I was the same way when I didn't get a bill for my frosties in January.  I was afraid they lost them.  Called embryology and they assured me they were still there, the billing can just take awhile.  I'm sure it is just a mix up and that your frosties are just fine!!  Def call them for some peace of mind Monday

    I'm with Jenny.  Hopefully, the bill for freezing is just a few days behind the others.  Or they decided to be extra nice and not charge you for that part ;)

    I called last week because I was worried that I hadn't received a bill. She told me they waited because my insurance covered some ultrasounds and office visits. She told me the insurance covered what they would, and that the bill was coming. The total she gave me was exactly what the bill was. I'm really praying it was the wrong code! And I hate that I'll be worried about it until Monday :(

    I hope everything gets straightened out on Monday and that your frosties are safe and sound. It sucks you have to wait all weekend to hear back!

    Ours was on a separate bill because it was a different 'department' from the fertility clinic within the hospital. Could be the same for you. Fingers crossed, keep us posted.

    I spoke with the biller. She was pulling my chart and going to call me back. Still waiting for the call...
