I remember! Actually, a family friend had a daughter and named her Jalisa after hearing it on that show.

I've only seen it spelled Julisa, and it was a Hispanic girl.

I've taught several girls named Jalisa (pronounced juh-LEE-suh). It's a popular African-American name in my community.
