TMI...but I haveto ask....

in Trouble TTC

I just haveto know if anyone else gets dry "girl parts" when you take Clomid??? Everytime I take it....my girly goods get red and super super dry?? Am I alone? Should I ask the doctor about this? TIA...and I don't wanna gross anyone out! sorry!

    I think it's worth mentioning to your doctor.  I've heard clomid can decrease your fertile CM but I've not heard it to that extreme.  GL!

    Yup, what she said.  Drier is normal, but that's more extreme than I've heard before.  Time to call.

    When I took high doses of Clomid, I noticed my CM dried up quite a bit. It's probably just one of those annoying symptoms of the Clomid  but mentioning it to your RE at your next appointment can't hurt.

    PCOS--TTC since 11/2010:   
    5 cycles of Clomid: all BFN, 1 cycle of Follistim:CP
    1 year break thanks to deployment.
    1 cycle Follistim: BFN, Lap to remove peritubal cyst May 2013
    2 cycles Follistim + trigger: BFN, Gonal F +IUI April 2014: BFP!!!!!! 

    Boy/Girl Twins due Jan 5, 2015!!!

    i have heard this but like the other ladies said, i think it sounds a little bit more severe than what i've heard of before - so id def give the dr a call just to reassure yourself!

    ME: 29, DH: 29
    dx: MFI due to uncontrolled diabetes
    10/2011 baseline bw, us and HSG - ALL CLEAR!!, SA #s were looking good
    Nov 7 2011 Clomid monitored ultrasound - 2 follies on left side (one was 18-20mm the other was 22 mm) and 1 medium follie on right side
    Nov 9 2011 IUI #1 clomid + ovidrel trigger
    Nov 23 2011 BFP!!
    beta #1 11/23: 228, progesterone: 38, beta #2 11/25: 426, progesterone: over 40, beta #3 11/29: over 1100, progesterone: 30.4, beta #4 12/2: 1800, progesterone: 20.4 - starting progesterone suppositories, beta #5 12/6: 1600 :(, progesterone: 19, after a rollercoater of up & down betas we went ahead with the methotrexate shots and ultimately had a m/c 12/2011 :(

    THat does sound extreme, but preseed does the trick for me when clomid dries everything up.

    thanks girls! I thought maybe I just got a super bad side effect.....but I didn't know if I should be concerned or not!!
