spitting up purees

My DS has always spit up a lot. The doctor was not too concerned because he was gaining enough weight. He did go from 70% weight at 2 months to 50% weight at 4 months. Anyway, he is now spitting up his purees that I am feeding him about the same as the milk. Does anyone else have this problem? DS has his 6 month appointment on Monday so I am going to ask the doctor then but wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Mine does, not often though. The problem is my daughter is NEVER still--which is why she always spits up. (Especially because she never has spit up overnight when she is sleeping and is still and not active.) So after she eats, no matter how still I hold her and keep her, she is trying to sit, roll, stand, twist, crawl, etc--and needless to say spits up. It is not as often though maybe once or twice a week.
