NBR: looking for a long-term teaching sub

So, the biggest stress of my pregnancy so far is finding my long-term sub.  I have major (if not most) say in who takes over for me while I am gone.  Problem is, I don't know any out of work art teachers.

If you know any art teachers (or someone who could sub for art, perhaps an artist or a teacher that is crafty/artistic) that would like a long-term sub position for 6-8 weeks starting in March, please let me know.

If my sub has art knowledge or not really decided what I leave for my students to do.  It is really stressing me out.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: NBR: looking for a long-term teaching sub

  • I know someone who used to teach art, but I think it was at the elementary level.  I'll drop her a line and see if she's interested.  She's a SAHM with two small boys so the chances are probably slim.  If I hear anything I'll let you know!

  • I might know someone. I know she's doing something for her certification in the spring, but I'll PM you after I talk to her.
  • I know someone.  I'll ask her and get back to you.

She's doing her student teaching through April, so she's not available. Sorry.

  • Thanks ladies!
