I decided I'd give it a try... here's what I came up with:

**Dx: Anovulation, Hypothryroidism, Mild Endo, Pituitary Adenoma (prolactin issues), PAI-1, MFI **
**7/10: Clomid + TI= BFN**
**3/2/11: 1st RE appointment**
**DH= Morph= 2%, Motility= 30%**
**HSG= All clear!!**
**3/11: Femara + Pregnyl + TI= BFN**
**5/17/11: Laparoscopy / hysteroscopy = mild endo**
**7/11: Novarel + IUI #1= BFN (7mil, 75% motility, 2% morph)**
**8/11: Femara + Novarel + IUI #2= BFN (11mil, 35% motility, 1% morph)**
**11/11: Femara + Novarel + IUI #3= BFN (9mil, 2% morph)**
**Jan 2012: Follistim (75ius) + IUI #4= CANCELLED due to cyst -put on bcp**
**Feb 2012: Follistim (75ius) + Novarel + IUI #4.2= BFFN (2.5mil, 13% motility, 1% morph)**
**Mar 2012: Follistim (100ius) + IUI #5= CANCELLED due to 35mm & 14mm cysts**
**On med break indefinitely...IF Sucks!**

I know penguins are spoken for already. We could do a turtle, and I love turtles, but it makes me think of how slow this process is going and that makes me sad.
That's why I like the bee idea, it makes me feel empowered and hopeful. That's just my 2 cents.

I agree that they are cute, it's just my two cents! You did a great job on the design!
So I remember hearing something about the bumblebee thing being an urban legend, and here's an interesting explanation:

Still, though, the mascot and the metaphor works! It seems like bumblebees couldn't fly if they were flying the "typical" way -- i.e., like a bird, or an airplane. They fly because they get around that... by flying like a helicopter.

IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I'm a board certified entomologist and need to butt in to say that the bee's flight mechanism is well understood. They have other aspects that would make them a good mascot - all the bees in the hive are female (with a few token drone males Cmartin!), they are excellent at communicating, work together to solve problems (such as the cold - when temperatures reach a point that individually the bees would die, they huddle together and 'shiver', creating enough warmth with their movement to outlast the cold). They also spend a great deal of resources on facilitating egg laying by the queen bee and then rearing the brood - there are actually 'nurse bees' whose job is to take care of the baby bees!
