Any interest in having a mascot for our siggies to show that we are members of 3T? I'm not sure what it would be, but sorta like the little dragon guy for TTCAL...

I think it's a great idea! I'm not too creative so I don't really have an idea of what it could be though.

A mascot would be cool!  What about a bumblebee?  Supposedly according to the laws of aerodynamics it's impossible for them to fly, but they do anyway!

Can I suggest an elephant? My reasons being strength, luck( trunk up), wisdom/memory, and wonderful mothers. Traits I think we are all mastering . Sorry if this is jumbled, phone post!

I like the elephant idea as well.

I like the bumblebee idea we well

I also like the symbolism of hummingbirds.  They can represent persistence and hope.  They are also pretty magical- they can hibernate overnight and seem to come back to life in the morning.  Also, since they can hover in one place, it can mean you're actually making progress when you feel stuck.

I think the bumblebee is cute, but I also like the elephant idea. Not only for the reasons that AKB090609 brought up, but also because I see my struggles with IF as sometimes being "the elephant in the room"... it's there, it's big, but people are afraid to address it.

Just to let you ladies know the elephant is the mascot for the TTCAL+6 months board (elephants never forget) - so that is already taken.  You can see it in my siggy.  I post on here (not as much as I used to, but I started posting here in Feb 2010), and also on IF vets and TTCAL+6 and it is pretty much a no-no to use a mascot from another board.  I know you probably didn't know that it was used there, so I just wanted to let you know. 

I think the bumblebee idea is really cute though.

I love Pandas, but I do think that Snarky and TTTC uses them.

I love the idea!! Along with the cute bee idea what about a sparrow? It stands for strength, true love- as sparrows mate for life and no matter how far they travel they always find their way home. They also symbolize luck. On second thought, what about a duck? I just remembered the post about feeling like a duck because of IF and other stress, and for almost the same reasons I think a duck would be great!

I love the bumblebee and turtle. Both already have a special place in my heart. My husband and I call each other B, so we have lots of bee stuff. I also have a rescue tortoise

I am so excited to have a mascot! Great ideas ladies!
