Sadly I'm not crafty at ALL. And no updates Getting closer to our appointments though, which is exciting.

Update: Looks like I O the day after my IUI. I feel good b/c we had much better numbers this time. Hoping my left tube is the good luck charm I needed (first time since being with my RE that I ovulated on my left side). I haven't decided if I'll test Thanksgiving morning or not... I'm thinking I'll wait until the day after b/c I don't want to ruin Thanksgiving. We'll see how I feel.

I know there are several other ladies in their 2ww so good luck to all of us and hope this is a memorable Thanksgiving for us this year!!

 QOTW: I wish I had more time to be crafty. My G'ma taught me to do plastic canvas, cross stitch, and crochet but sadly I haven't done any of them in a really long time. I made some plastic canvas ornaments a long time ago.

I also love to scrapbook (which I consider crafty) but as stated above, haven't found the time to do it in a while. And I love to paint too and hope to do a few painting before Christmas.

Our estimated ER date is 12/07, with an ET tentatively scheduled for 12/10 or 12/12.  My husband's currently taking Clomid and vitamins.  I can't wait to get started but I'm so nervous at the same time.

Hi Zook and friends! I haven't updated in a while, but I'm still here, of course. I started BCP's yesterday for IVF #1!! Stims don't start until after the holidays but we wanted to use my natural cycles to start birth control. Feels good to be doing something, even if it is just popping that little pill each night.

QOTW: Three years ago I would have said no way was I crafty. Since then I've learned to knit and sew. I've made tons of things! 3 quilts, lots of bags, many curtains, a robe, warm weather accessories, etc.  Here's a pic of the quilt I made of our bedroom. In my blog you can see the corner of a poncho i knitted in my latest post.

Hi everyone-- I'm Faith, we've been TTC since 9/10. Diag endo in 2000, borderline FSH, mild MFI. Was doing my first IUI this cycle but it was cancelled after I had no response to Clomid or an FSH shot. We've decided to continue w the acupuncture and try naturally for a while. We're also looking into adoption, but I'm not ready to give up on TTC yet.

As for crafts-- I knit. Am currently making this hooded scarf thing, but my cat got into the yarn, and it is a mess right now. So, I put it in the closet until I find myself having a patient day. Am also making a bunch of those no sew fleece blankets for Christmas.

No real update.  But we're now closing in on only about 70ish days until we can finally move forward with IUI #3 with injects.  Woohoo!  It finally feels like it's right around the corner! 

QOTD:  I didn't ever really think of myself as crafty since I can't sew or crochet.  But my MIL & SIL think I'm very crafty since I scrapbook & come up with creative DIY things.  I have wanted forever to make a quilt out of the bridesmaid dresses I have worn from my four best friends weddings (these are the four that then were my bridesmaids)...but that just hasn't happened.  I'm thinking of getting the balls to ask my mom for her sewing machine over Thanksgiving and finally learning.  I've actually taken apart two of the dresses so I just have fabric laying around.

I am in the 2ww of our first injects cycle. Tomorrow is my progesterone b/w. Then another week of waiting. My hopes are down and I prefer them that way

QOTW: I am not super crafty, but I have made some holiday decorations. Last year I made my own wreath and a thing for holding our cards on our mantle (not sure what to call it).

Update:  Moving forward to our next IUI (it's actually the 4th one) - I'm on CD 8 and given my last couple of long cycles I am guessing the IUI will be over Thanksgiving weekend.  I am hoping for either that Saturday, Sunday or Monday - so I don't have to miss work.  Trying to stay really positive for this cycle - I so need this to work!  I even ordered a fertility yoga DVD that my RE recommended - so we'll see what that's like.  I am also taking some herbs from my acupuncturist since this is an unmedicated IUI. 

QOTW:  I am not really crafty in the traditional sense.  I used to cross stitch in high school, but I never finished a project.  I wish I would have learned to crochet from my grandma, but sadly I never did.  I would think I would be into scrapbooking, seems like I would like it, but I've never gotten into that either. 

I do like cute decorating ideas and I try to do those types of crafty things - I made tissue paper poms for a couple of parties and I made a beautiful card box (with pictures) for my parents 50th anniversary.  I also made their centerpieces using photos too.

I started my IVF cycle this past week. I'm on stim day 6 today and looking at an ER next weekend and ET around Thanksgiving. I went for my first u/s yesterday and I have about 35 follicles all around 10-11mm, so hopefully they continue to grow at the same rate. I'm starting to feel super bloated and I'm sure it will get much worse!!

Update:  We have a 2nd opinion with an RE on Tuesday, and will likely be going with her recommendation...  so Tuesday will be a big day for us!

Update:  We have to do more bloodwork to see if we are carriers for anything as well as to see if I have a bloodclotting disorder. Also we dediced to have the miscarriage naturally instead of doing another D&C so soon after the first loss. We will then go in for our WTF app to make our next move.

QOTW: I love to think that I am crafty! I have made a few things on my own and tried making things that I have pinned on pintrest. Mostly I bake, try to crochet and now I'm into modpodge!

Update: Yesterday was CD1 and we are doing IUI#5 instead of a holiday break before IVF. Increasing the dose of Tamoxifen this time to hopefully get more than just one follie.

Update:  IUI ended in a c/p and I am trying to get myself together so I can start the next cycle of treatments.  This has not been a good week for me!

3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one? I have fibroids, uterine polyps, and  possible hydrosalpinx in one tube.

4) What treatments have you done? I have scheduled an outpatient procedure to have the polyps removed and at the same time will have a HSG to confirm tube blockage.

Sadly I'm not crafty at ALL. And no updates Getting closer to our appointments though, which is exciting.

This, exactly.  The closest I've come to crafts recently is making a birthday cake for DH from scratch and using fondant for the first time.

I ovulated today, so our next S/A is 11/17, and our next MFI uro appt is 11/30.

QOTW:  I can do plastic canvas, but I don't do it because I don't feel like I can use it anywhere.  I did make Barbie furniture out of it when I was 10...that was pretty cool.  Currently, I cross sitch alot.  I love doing it.  I usually stick to holiday themes so I can display them.

Hugs for hootie and good luck to the 2ww girls!! Update: had my lap and they found endo and a fibroid which they removed. Repeat sa for mh on Tuesday. I'm about to ovulate and its KILLING me to not have sex. My re said we have to wait 7 to 10 days for sex, and I am, but I feel like I'm just wasting this cycle. Sooo much anxiety to waste a cycle. In Jan we'll be moving on to injects. QOTW: I wish I were more crafty. I've done some projects and did some stuff for our wedding. I really can't wait to be crafty and make baby stuff but I'm holding out for our baby. A nesting instinct kicked in lately. (sorry for the formatting - phone)

Update: Started BCP this past Monday and mock transfer and injectables class this Tuesday.

 

QOTW: No, I am not really that crafty. I am more of a baker. I made choclate chip cookies this afternoon.

2) When did you start TTC (month/year)? actively trying since June 2011.

3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one? PCOS and Endo.

4) What treatments have you done? So far we have had a D&C and a HSG. See an RE on the 22nd. Take metformin and provera.

update - lap was all clear and I'm on my last cycle before going on bcps in prep for IVF.  So far it has been strangely normal so I'm hoping for good things.

QOTW - I am not crafty at all, though I really wish I was.

Finished taking Clomid 150 mg Saturday. The hot flashes are killing me this cycle. IUI #2 will most likely be Friday.

DH & I also decided this weekend that if IUI #2 is fail we will try  to try 1 or 2 more IUI's (depending on RE recommendation) and then move on to IVF, we have limited insurance coverage and don't want to blow all our coverage on IUI and then not be able to do IVF if needed.

Update: My diagnosis is now DOR.  I'm doing my first injects IUI (2nd total IUI).

QOTW: I love doing crafts just rarely have the time.  Scrapbooking and card making are my favorite.  I'm also crotcheting my first baby blanket as a gift for my goddaughter.

QOTW: Any crafty ladies out there?? What crafts do you like? What have you made?

I am making these photo coasters for Christmas gifts. I also taught myself how to sew this summer so I made aprons for all of my teaching teammates this year.  I also like to scrapbook, but I don't love it enough to do it all the time.

 

I don't really have any updates but I have my fingers crossed that my H can do a SA this week!  He is home for a whole week for the first time since May.  I am so happy!  He is thinking that he might get to be home for a few weeks, which "should" coincide with my fertile time.  I go to my gyno in December.  I am going to try to up my appointment and get in a little earlier.  I am going to try to get an HSG scheduled.

IUI#2 was a bust, so just waiting for AF to arrive. Then onto IUI#3 and a change in meds (probably injects).
