Jordan for a girl?

What is the consensus on the name Jordan for a girl? It is my husband's favorite name and we are thinking about naming LO Jordan Paige if it's a girl. She would go by Paige because that is a tradition for first born girls in my family (don't ask me why), and I really like the flow of Jordan Paige. I'm just curious what others think.

Same as the others- Its NMS, but not horrid either. As long as you don't try to throw in a y or something else to 'make it uneek'.

I do like the name Paige and pairing it with Jordan Paige sounds fine and it nice flowing.

Also- as long as your last name isn't Morgan (J.P. Morgan, financials)

I think it's ok.This is one name that I actually like it on a girl much better than on a boy.It was almost my name,which I would have preferred to the one I got.lol

It seems really 90's to me (there were a ton of kids named after Michael Jordan, no?). And I don't think it sounds very feminine or pretty. Paige is pretty dull for me too.

I like it. I know a lot more girls named Jordan than boys. I like it paired with Paige too.

When I was little, I lived down the street from a girl named Jordyn. I do love the name for a girl, as I don't know many named this. But, the spelling was soooo hideous. 

If you and your H love it, go for it! I love Jordan Paige, by the way

I usually think of it as a boy name when I hear it, but I've known girl students named Jordan before at my school. Jordan Paige works fine.

To me Jordan is always a boy, what about Jordana, I knew one growing up and think it is very pretty. I am not sure if this is the correct spelling but it sounds like  jor-Dan-a

I actually don't mind Jordan for a girl -- it's one of the better unisex names, IMO.  But I think I prefer Jordana, if that's an option.

I love pp's suggestion of Jordana Paige.  It flows just as nicely, if not better than Jordan Paige.

To me Jordan is a boy-born-in-the-70s name.

I like it, but I would spell it differently because I know a lot of boys who spell their name that way. I would choose Jordyn I think.

jordan paige sounds fine. it kind of bugs me that more girls have the name jordan than boys but whatever. we almost used it for our son but i couldn't shake that there are so many girls out there with it.

Thanks everyone, we are not 100% set on the name. Jordana is very pretty too, I'll run it by my H, but I know he loves Jordan, and we have had a really hard time agreeing....
