Official Goodbye

This has been a rough evening at the Bear residence. We're having some issues with our oldest. He's a very sensitive kid, and very perceptive and beyond smart. He's got a lot of emotional issues that we've been pushing under the rug and labeling "just kid stuff". A lot of things came out tonight, and it really spotlighted me as a mother and how I spend my time. I don't think I'm online a lot per say, but I am on the computer or my phone during the day when I could be spending time with my kids. It's not fair to them. I know I haven't been here much lately anyway, but I just wanted to bid you all a fond farewell. I'll still talk with some of you other places besides TB. I really enjoy each of you and wish you the very best. Please go hug your babies tight and never take a second of time with them for granted. *hugs and love* -Mommabear

Sad to see that you won't be here anymore. I'll miss you! If you can, stop in from time to time. But so glad to see that you're doing what's best for your family and prioritizing your kids. I wish you guys all the best.

I understand.  Much of my bumping is done at the office (lol), so I am not taking away from time with my LO.  But I feel that the time I bump in the evening is something I need to cut away for the same reasons.  If I were a SAHM I would probably have to GBCB because I tend to get sucked into my online time more than is reasonable to spend on it.  Anyway, T&P that you get a handle on the issues with your oldest.  You are a good mom for putting those needs first in my book.  Check in with us from time to time.

Thanks ladies. I'll still drop in when I can (like now over my morning coffee). Like Doodle said, I used to bump at work which was a-ok, but at home I get sucked into the internet way too easily.

I'll miss you. I'm close to throwing out a goodbye too. I've cut down time here and mostly bump on the weekend at work but no one's on then anyway. I know what you mean by needing to focus more on the LOs. Hope everything gets better soon!
