Questions Please Help

Hello All  I am posting this in this board and infertility board to get the most responses.  Sorry If you see it double.

DH and I have been trying to conceive now for 1 year after a miscarriage last Oct.  I explained the concerns to my doctor and they started testing for infertility.  I have found out through the journey of testing I have tubal disease.   I went through lap. surgery and the RE told me quote "your insides are a mess."  I was told to that in order to conceive IVF would be the most successful.  Since I am brand new to this and don't have any friends who have had similar circumstances I need you guys to help me.  I looked online (I know not a great source) and realized my RE doesn't have the best reviews when it comes to IVF and IUI.   What references can I ask for or obtain to find out if this RE has a good success rate? What else should I be looking into before starting IVF? As some of you know this is very expensive and my insurance won't pay so I need the best advice anyone has.

Thank you all

    https://infertilityfaq.blogspot.com/

it has various subheading on side to find info and for RE's stats

in terms of finding a good RE rec, you can post on IF board and ask for RE recs in your area.

  • I'm not sure if you're willing to travel, but Shady Grove Fertility in the DC metro area is one of the best clinics in the country and within driving distance from Delaware. They have a few offices in Baltimore/North of Baltimore which may not be terribly far from you. Here's a link to their website: www.shadygrovefertility.com

They also have one of the best Shared Risk Programs for those paying OOP.
