Not that I go overboard, but the last several months when I know I'm not PG, I feel I need to do everything you shouldn't do when you are KU. I drink more coffee, beer, wine, color my hair, get the nails done, etc. I keep telling myself that these aren't such great ideas for a PG lady, so while I know I'm not, may as well live it up a little. What do you do that you might not if you (or should I say WHEN?) get KU?
TTC since 8/10.Hypothyroidism, put on Synthroid. Clomid 50 mg + IUI Oct '11 = BFN. HSG found blocked tube Nov '11. Lap + Hysteroscopy to remove tube and fix septum Dec '11. Cancelled following cycle due to lack of response to Clomid. Jan/Feb '12 Clomid 100mg + Folllitism + HSG + Vivelle Dot + IUI #2 = BFN. 3/30/12: Natural Cycle BFP - beta 59 @ 12dpo, beta 286 @ 16dpo
Baby boy arrived 12/8/12!
Re: Do you do this when you know you're not PG?
Hot tub, the only reason we did this month is because we were on a forced break.
I still drink some, but not during the important times

Lol! Not that I "celebrate" not being PG but the first night after AF shows up I always end up with a glass of wine in hand! I know I should probably still refrain but sometimes I think its much deserved and a healthy way to deal with the stress of a BFN!
I also overload on the coffee in the AMs, I'm a coffee-holic I drink a thermos full every morning, as I get closer and post ovulation I try to cut down, but after the BFN I go right back to my coffee-loving ways! You are not alone...
I'm right there with you. Not that I'm celebrating not being pregnant, but when the occasion arises, for instance when I'm craving sushi...I think to myself that I should enjoy it now because hopefully I won't be able to soon.
I guess it makes life a little more liveable when you can treat yourself to certain things.
Yeah I do the same thing too. AF like literally showed up and I'm all ready planning my drinking for tonight
. Other than that not too much else. I will be more likely to take pain meds that are not appropriate for pg ladies when I know I'm not pregnant.
oh and last month I donated blood cuz I knew I wasn't pg. I was tired of not being able to donate blood cuz I could at any time be pregnant, So I said screw it, I know I'm not pregnant, I wanna donate my blood, and it was time number 20

As soon as AF shows up, I go straight for the triple lattes, salmon sashimi, and red wine. In fact, the only good thing about today's BFN is that I'll be able to drink at my friends' wedding next weekend (not that I wouldn't have happily stuck with cranberry juice and seltzer if I needed to).
I say enjoy these things while you can, because there will come a time (hopefully soon!) when we'll need to gladly give them up.

The second AF shows, I indulge in cocktails. My BFN yesterday actually came at a perfect time because I'm heading out tomorrow on a trip with a group of friends for a few days so I can drink guilt free. When I get back, I will start the next cycle. I'm also a big skier so if I continue to get BFNs this winter, at least I'll be able to ski. Why not enjoy the things you can't do when you're pregnant? It's the only plus side to not being KU.
