hello everyone,
As you may have read in my other posting, my husband and I have been going to see a fertility specialist since the end of September. I went through all the testing, including the HSG and everything came back normal. At my last visit towards the end of October the doctor said the sonogram looked perfect for ovulation; however, the blood test indicated I was NOT ovulating. The doctor said he was pretty sure I didn't ovulate after all was said and done.
This morning, I took a pregnancy test (I was due to have my period yesterday approx.) and I received a BFP! now, I immediately started crying and I'm so scared. I had a blighted ovum in June and I'm afraid it will happen again since I'm not ovulating the way I should be.
If it's correct, I'm about 4 weeks along. Is it possible that I really did ovulate and the hormonal surge wasn't accurate or measured properly? The doc said to go ahead and try before the blood test came back because physically it looked like my ovary was preparing to release an egg.
Thoughts?
