I need a new wallet so I'm putting it on my Christmas list this year. I've had the same checkbook wallet for 5+ years so I would like to replace it, and since I never carry a checkbook anymore I'm looking for a smaller, more compact style.
A wallet with plenty of room to hold my eleventybillion membership/shopping cards is a huge plus.

Re: rec your wallet
I've had a LODIS "business" card case for almost 5 years now. M_and_m had one and it made sense to me. I almost never carry cash, just a ton of cards. I have pared them down a lot but just needed a place to keep them all together. I also keep 1-2 checks folded in there in case I need one, which is rare.
They have them on clearance at Last Call all the time but a lot of the places online offer free monogramming etc. I can go into HEB with this in one back pocket, my cell phone in the other.
I got a nice one from Coach for my birthday, but it's still long (checkbook length). It has a ton of car slots and I can stash my phone in it
They don't have the exact one I have anymore or I'd link it.
I also have a checkbook wallet from Coach. I love it.
I love wallets! I think I've kind of become a collector.
- Cole Haan checkbook wallet from about three years ago. I got it at the outlet in Round Rock. Though they don't make the style I have anymore, I really do love Cole Haan products.
- Dooney & Bourke checkbook wallet (c 1997) --- I use this one a lot! They don't make them anymore though.
- HOBO "Sadie" wallet --- Hobo releases this wallet every season in different colors. I have one in a very pale pink and one in a dusty blue (I guess I bought in the spring!)
- Tusk French wallet (not a checkbook wallet but still very nice and holds a lot of stuff)
I'm a fan of wristlets - mainly bc I carry a laptop bag around all day and dont want to carry a purse.
I tried finding mine online - but my favorite is by Hobo International - the Cristel (got it about 2 yrs ago). Mine is in a camel color - this is the closest I can find now: https://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.aol_refer.false.tpl.detail.msn_refer.false.item.A218218.ref.GBA?cm_ven=GOOGLEBASE&cm_cat=Fashion&cm_pla=Handbags&cm_ite=A218218-122-000. I like it b/c it is wide enough to fit my passport and dollar bills, and has zippers where I can keep change separated. I will say that there isn't a lot of card organization in there, so I have a little card holder that I just put in there as well.
The other one I have came from the Coach outlet - its also a wristlet, but a little smaller and more structured, with more places for cards.

Same here. I think I've had it for about a year and it looks brand new. It's organized well and has large slots for receipts and whatever random crap ends up in there.
I really wanted the newer Kate Spade Stacy. You pretty much just open it up and bam there are all your cards but I just bought maybe last season's Stacy during the Kate Spade Surprise Sale last week. It's stil pretty compact but it just has a little bigger buckle than the newer Stacy. I think I saw a Lodis at the Rack a few weeks ago that is pretty much the same design as the Stacy.
In a totally different direction, this is my wallet and I LOVE it and have had it forever. https://www.etsy.com/listing/62460549/cherry-red-floral-frame-wallet-clutch?ref=sr_gallery_6&ga_search_submit=&ga_search_query=frame+wallet&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade
I get compliments on it constantly when I'm paying for stuff.
It holds more cards than you would think but it is not one of those you can stuff a ton into (this is actually a good thing for me because I end up not keeping the bazillion things I normally would). But it may not be roomy enough for you.
