I really like Miriam. Marion sounds somewhat masculine to me too, although if I just saw it I'd probably assume it was the name of an older woman. Not a horrible name, but not nearly as appealing to me as Miriam.

i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
Marion spelled that way just seems like a last name. I think I like Marian better and it reminds me of Robin Hood! Actually both are good names, but I like Miriam better (nn Miri)

I like them both actually... Grandmother was Marion and was the most beautiful person so I am a bit partial.. I was obsessed with it a bit when SJP named her twins Marion and Tabitha! I thought that was a great twin set
Re: Miriam or Marion?
Neither, no offense.
Totally NMS.
I prefer Marian for a girl and Marion for a boy spelling.
Out of the two, Marian, but it's my grandmother's name so that could be why. I know a little girl named Miriam, it's really cute on her.
LOVE Miriam.
Marion has always sounded masculine to me for some reason.
I like Marion better - Mari would be a cute NN if you would shorten.
DD has a Miriam in her preschool and she is nicknamed Mimi - she is adoreable and I love her nn

love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
I love Marian. I think it's a really underused name that should definitely make a comeback.
Miriam is nice; I know a Miriam whose nickname is Mim.

Marian, spelled this way, is lovely.
I'm not as wild about Miriam but I do think Mimi would be an adorable nickname.
both are nms
if I had to, I'd go with miriam
I love Miriam! But I was going to suggest Maren as an alternative to Marion.
