First HFM and now scabies

We got a note from daycare last night that one of the kids in DD's class has scabies. When I got home there it was on the local news, 4 cases in our very small school district. I thought hand foot and mouth was bad but this is a mite that is compairable to headlice in the skin. I am praying that they caught this in time that it didn't spread.

Ugh.  The word alone grosses me right out.  Scabies are a lot worse than head lice.

I swear I am a normal person...

I got scabies once from a tanning bed.  It was extremely itchy but the treatment was easy.  The gross factor was a little harder to get over.  I hope your LO doesn't get it.
