We've never been able to use Johnson and Johnson's with DD, and now I'm glad we don't. We use Aveeno (not the one listed) but now I'm itching to get home and check the ingredients in what we do use.
I already new that it had some bad chemicals just by looking at the ingredients. We try to be as harsh-chemicals in this home as possible. So we have never and will never use anything that has those chemicals. Unfortunately many people think that if it says "for babies" "pediatrician approved" "clinically approved" or just anything that sounds OK, is safe for babies when in reality the big popular brands are big offenders. I was given a sample of Johnson's plain lotion, the one in the pink bottle, it contains Paraben, sulfates and cittic acid! No thanks!
I previously used Aveeno products on my DS, but after reading this article and looking at https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/, I am going to switch to an organic brand.
We use aveeno (not the one mentioned in the article) and I've heard bad things about J&J and aveeno (same company). I tried an organic line a friend gave me at my shower, but I couldn't stand the smell. J&J made LO's skin dry, so we haven't used it since he was born.
So far I've really liked the aveeno. I know California baby is popular, but you can't get it in canada, and it sounds crazy pricey.

Ugh.
There are many others, just as good some will debate even better than CA Baby and some are not so pricey. Green Baby, Badger, Nature's Baby, Weleda, Avalon...the list goes on and on. Fortunately there many natural and organic baby products out there!
