So, my husband and I have been TTC for a couple of months now, and yesterday I was having backaches, but that could have been from the 5 hours we had spent driving home from our weekend trip. I haven't been charting, I'm not so good at consistency with such things, but I think I'm 10 or 11 DPO, CD 26. This morning I woke up coughing (I have had a cold for the last week), and at one point I felt super nauseous and thought I was gonna puke. Went back to sleep, got up an hour or so later with more nausea and cramps. I don't get cramps during AF, let alone 4 days before AF is supposed to come. I went to the bathroom and took a test, and it looked like there was a second line, but it was really faint. I thought a line was a line, but my DH isn't convinced. I'm planning on testing again in a few days (or tomorrow), but I wanted to see if anyone who has gone through this has any insight.
*Crossing fingers!*
****Edit: For those who think I'm nuts for not being sure and saying I think I have two lines, the reason I posted was because the line looked like a faint pink shadow, like there was a line that was still masked by a layer of paper or something. I only posted in the hope that someone had had something similar happen to them. I'll post one way or another tomorrow with a (hopefully) more conclusive result. I'm sorry for those of you who think these are annoying, but sometimes us first-timers don't know what's going on. Cut us a little slack.
Re: Help! I'm not sure if it's a BFP or not....

Good luck, BTW! :-)
What type of test did you use? Did you read the directions?
Edited: You are aware that we can't tell you if you are or not, right? The only thing you can do is to continue testing.

I know right?!
well we definitely can't help you there...
I asked what test you took because some test are more prone to evaporation lines. The only way to know if it is truly positive and not an evap is to continue testing.
But someone over the internet is supposed to be able to see it magically and tell you the answer? These posts are really starting to get annoying.
Falling in Love! November 2014
Did you take a picture? Can you post it? I know that sometimes we can "see" lines that are not there. Your post said the line was there just faint. If there is a line you are not seeing things unless it's an evap line or you noticed it after 10 minues or so. If you want we can look at the test for you and let you know if you are seeing things but you need to post a picture of it. Test again tomorrow with FMU but it sounds like you are pregnant. Be happy!
I didn't have a camera available until it was too late to take a pic. I don't think it was an evap line, it had been like 3 minutes which is when it says to check. I'm planning on testing in the morning, and I'll make sure to get a picture, whether I think I'm seeing things or if it's darker than this morning. We'll see. Hoping for the best!
Good luck! Post a picture tomorrow
The women on here make me sick. Aren't we all on here for the same reason... to talk through our worries and questions with other women in the same spot as we are in life? I think that MANY of you need to stop hiding behind your computer screens so that you can be deliberately cruel. Grow up and get a hobby. Oh wait... THIS is probably your pathetic hobby. How sad.
OP... I hope you are pregnant
If it is wishful thinking, then you are not alone. I am sure many of us have had this happen. I am forever searching for faint lines. It is always disappointing to find out that you were "seeing things". Hang in there and hopefully you did see a line!!
No one is being cruel. They are being truthful. And they would tell her the same things IRL as they did in this post.
Who exactly was being cruel?
Who exactly was being cruel?
This one is cruel
If we are all so horrible maybe it is best to stay away. I dont feel that anyone was being a total jerk its just annoying to see these posts about everyday...the Do you think I am pregnant??? I have 2 lines but Im not sure??? And someone typically comes to the rescue to call everyone a bunch of meanie heads.
If you can't tell who is being rude, sarcastic, and cruel on here I don't know what to tell you. I went back and marked one that was rude and cruel, but am not going to waste my time doing it for all of them. There is no reason for the back-handed comments that so many women make on here. If they don't want to read a post that is titled "I'm not sure if it is BFP or not" then DON"T READ THEM. Instead of wasting everyone's time and upsetting the OP, just stay off the thread. Done arguing about this...
Not everyone is horrible. I come on here to give support to women who I hope would return that support if I ever need it. If you are so sick of hearing these posts then why do you click on the threads with titles like this one? I sure would hope that someone comes to the rescue!! I sure hope I am not the ONLY one out there who thinks this nonsense should stop. I am so sick of catty women in every aspect of life. There are so many times that I wanted to write a post seeking assurance from others on here, but stopped because I was afraid of the negative comments and ridicule from other women. Enough is enough already! If others are "coming to the rescue" shouldn't that tell you something? Obviously the behavior on these threads are undesirable to many people.
Good because you were the one who started the argument in the first place. The OP never said she had a problem with any of the comments.
And, no I don't have a problem distinguishing what is what here because no one was rude or cruel. You need to lighten up. This is an internet message board.
And you clearly dont get that regulars on here get so tired of the same questions every.single.day!! People really should lurk on here before they start posting and realize that (as far as I know) no one on here has a crystal ball and can tell someone if they are pregnant or if their HPT is positive <--- especially if they dont post a picture.
If we make you sick, then why are you here? Posts like yours are a dime a dozen. Every few weeks (or make that days) someone posts a ridiculous question, gets some comical responses, and then a "hero" like you steps in and tells everyone what meanies they are.
If this board bothers you, don't come here. Simple as that.
That's so cruel of you to call me cruel. *runs out of post flailing and crying
Dude, I said "congrats!"

Exactly. You took on slightly sarcastic response and called us all "cruel". Did you notice that I asked a legitimate question that the OP never responded to?
I suggest babygaga.com. They are a better site for those looking for 'support' and 'sqeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' posts. I think that it would be a lot more your speed.
Hey ladies. Thanks for what support I've gotten, I didn't realize this would turn into a catfight or I wouldn't have asked. However, for those of you who care to know, though I don't have a picture, I did go out and buy digital tests last night. I took one before bed last night that came back negative, but figured I'd try in the morning. I got up this morning and tested with FMU, and got my BFP!!!!! So here's hoping it sticks.
As for the lurkers who are bitter that I posted something so ridiculous, I'm sorry that I'm a newbie and don't know how this whole pregnancy thing works! Now quit being vitriolic shrews and give the new girls a bit of a break, because if they're posting like I did, we just want a little support and to be able to share what we think should be excitement.
As for the rest of you, good luck!!!
Before you go, can you show me how to make my signautre all myspace-y like yours? Please?
