I'm new here but I feel I need to post on this. What about the thousands, if not millions of dollars paid for hospital and doctor visits because of a child getting polio or the measles or rubella because they were not vaccinated??  Or, not to be morbid, the funeral costs. Yes, I've had patients who have died from pertussis. Whether parents delay the schedule or not they are vaccinating to protect their children from horrible diseases. I suggest you get real.

14% of the cases in the new measles outbreak happened to people who had been vaccinated.
