Since I've been at home in bed I've been watching way too much tv. This includes several different shows about pawn shops; Pawn Stars, Hardcore Pawn, Pawn 90210, etc.

So it made me wonder about how many people use these services and how common it is. Enlighten me

I've bought a couple of cds from a pawn shop when I was driving the lady I volunteer for down to the shop so she could sell her tv.  It was a Pawn America and not shady looking, but I've not been back to that store since.  But it was pretty exciting to get some cds from my adolesence and only spend like $3

I shop consignment a lot which is similar but not.

My wedding ring set came from a pawn store, lol. It was the exact one I wanted and none of the jewelry stores in town had one like it, so we bought it from a pawn store. (After getting the set verified.)

I've never even been in a pawn shop, but I love watching hardcore pawn. Les is hilarious.

I have to fast forward through Amanda, she drives me crazy with all of her whining between she and Seth.  So I just watch the parts with the fun and interesting pawners
