Anyone around 10weeks having light cramping?

Hey All~

I'm probably being a worry wart but I'm just curious if any of you have had mild cramping...I actually was trying to look this up and one suggestion was possible dehydration? I'm not that great about drinking fluids so I'm hoping this is it...any of you having any symptoms like this? Thanks in advance

A.

  • Ugh, I am in the same boat and I have been since the beginning. I think it's gotten SLIGHTLY better recently but whenever I start to think that, it gets worse again. I have done a ton ton ton of research on it and I think it is pretty normal.. I am trying not to worry but it's easier said than done!

  • I am too. Two separate days I have had some mild cramping. What is yours feeling like? Mine is really low, centre and I guess I would say mildly menstrual like and I have no clue if I should be worried or if this is completely normal? I haven't had any spotting with it and it's not overly painful (more annoying if anything) so i'm not sure it warrants a call to the dr?

  • Mine is pretty low too and not always in the exact same spot....I'm sitting here drinking gatorade and hoping it goes away....my job is real stressful so that probably doesn't help either...i haven't had any spotting either.  I had cramping only in the very beginning, but I wonder if this is what others feel when they say they have had cramping consistently?

  • I had a lot of (painless) cramping with my entire pregnancy last time and now again this time.  I was in the hospital 3 separate times last time when it picked up.  Once it was nothing, once it was dehydration, once I had an infection.  So, that's not helpful.  :)  But really with my son, it was all the time.  I made a point to stay super hydrated after that second hospitalization, and I still had it.  Not sure why.  It's going on again this time.  One nurse suggested that perhaps it's just what my body does when pregnant.  Stay hydrated and if it ever picks up to a level that is not "normal" for you, get checked out for peace of mind.  Good luck!

  • Yup. Just your uterus stretching out making room for baby. If it's constant or severe and doesn't go away, I would call your dr.

  • Am 10w and the cramping is normal.  If gets severe or have any bleeding with it call doc.  Could be dehydration, could just be ligament stretching as well.

  • Very normal, with my last if I didn't drink enough though out the entire pregnancy I would have cramping, plus things are stretching and moving around in your body. Try to to worry, I know its hard but stress makes it worse because you feel everything so much more when stressed.

  • I can totally relate and I'm PGAL, which makes me a worrier too! For me, it is definitely related to how much fluids I'm drinking throughout the day. I need help in this department, same as you. My obgyn said it's fine to drink the crystal light mix, so I bought that and it's actually been helping my water consumption.

  • I am also a worrier. This makes me feel better since I have been experiencing some light cramping. Also, I was super nauseous every day of December but yesterday and today pretty much nothing and my breasts don't hurt as much the past couple days either. I have a cold too.

Should I worry. I have my first prenatal appt. Monday but I am so anxious, I can't wait to hear that little heartbeat and know everything is ok.
  • Oh yea! When I was pregnant with my son,I was cramping like crazy around my 6th week throughout my first trimester always very low too,I was told by my ob that it was normal
